EEC Trends 2026

EEC Trends is an annual nationwide debate dedicated to the key directions in the development of the Polish and European economy – serving as the prologue to the European Economic Congress in Katowice. The upcoming 7th edition will take place on 9 February 2026 at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel, bringing together representatives of business, politics, academia and the expert community.

The event aims to identify the most important topics that will shape the discussions during the Congress. The debates focus on today’s strategic challenges: geopolitics, security, energy transition, digital sovereignty, public investments, infrastructure, labour market issues, and demographic trends.

Throughout the day, participants will engage in 13 thematic sessions, with around 1,000 attendees and more than 100 speakers expected. The speaker lineup traditionally includes leaders of major companies, top industry experts, government representatives, and key figures involved in shaping economic policy.

The conference will also feature a gala ceremony presenting the WNP Awards – prestigious distinctions granted by the WNP editorial team to individuals and institutions that truly shape the future of the Polish economy.

EEC Trends 2026 is an intensive, multidimensional and open discussion platform. The conclusions drawn during the event guide the agenda and priorities of the most important economic meeting in Central Europe – the European Economic Congress.
